Overview
The role of the Camp Committee Chair is to facilitate the planning and execution of a seasonal camp. This is done through leading weekly camp committee calls, tracking each department’s progress, and communicating with advisors and MYNA leadership. Camp chairs are expected to support their committees, lead with professionalism, and complete tasks thoroughly and intentionally.
General Responsibilities
Serve as the primary communication between the camp committee, advisors, and MYNA leadership.
Ensure each committee member is on track with their pre-camp tasks (including ensuring regular attendance of weekly camp committee and department training calls).
Track committee progress such that all timelines, requirements, and logistics are completed in a timely manner.
Plan and lead weekly camp committee calls; ensuring a respectful, collaborative, and productive environment.
Maintain a professional demeanor and act as a role model for both your committee and campers.

This position requires at least four hours a week during the planning process
You must be on all calls, unless a valid excuse is provided
You must communicate regularly with your advisors and EC liasion.
